New Builds

If you are purchasing a new home you need to know that it is safe and complies with building standards. STAR Property will inspect your entire home and provide you with a report detailing all the snags for you to ensure your builder / housing developer can rectify any defects and deliver you a problem free house. The report will highlight any issues where work is outstanding, fails to meet building regulations or falls short of warranty or industry standards.

Home Extensions and Renovations

If you are extending your current home or renovating rooms, we can snag individual rooms to ensure that all works done are completed correctly and safely. As with New Build inspections the report will highlight any issues where work is outstanding, fails to meet building regulations or falls short of warranty or industry standards.

Beginning and End of Tenancy Checks

If you are about to start a new Tenancy then our inspectors can snag the rental property at the start and end of your tenancy. This can provide you with independent evidence of any potential faults that may need to be addressed by your landlord and can be used to prevent lost deposits from pre-existing faults.

There are limitations to these inspections as only areas that are accessible or exposed can be inspected. The reports give the opinion of our trained inspector as to where evidence of defects are present.
